This is one of my more selfish blog posts. I'm a bit ashamed that let myself put items costing more than $50 in the collage. Publishing it invokes a rather guilty feeling. I'd probably never buy any of these things for myself; spending $200+ on a pair of shoes, rather than saving it for my wedding/rent/a rainy day would feel irresponsible. Valentine's Day Outfit #4: Cute Night In

Not everyone likes to go out on Valentine's Day. Some of us are just as happy at home, dressed in our PJs, cuddled on the couch with our dogs and significant other watching a shitty horror movie or marathon-ing our favorite TV shows. I'm one of  those people. Valentine's Day isn't about what you do, it's about who you're spending your time with. I tried to incorporate as much cute and coziness  as I could in this outfit.

☽Valentine's Day Outfit: "Don't Try to Impress Me" ☾

I call this one the "Angsty Moonbaby" ☾.
It's a great outfit if you're going for an aloof, mysterious, "I've got my shit together" look. This is for those of us who aren't comfortable springing into brighter colors once Valentine's Day/Spring rolls around. I wear black all year.  It's casual, easy to wear. Maybe you're going to a concert, and you want to look fly, but you don't want to sweat your balls off. Maybe you don't need to be smothered in jeans or a small skirt. Maybe you just need a kick-ass look that gives you some ability to move around. Here it is. Bam.
